In December 2013 we traveled to Israel for the Bar Mitzvah of our oldest grandson – nine family members in all. Jan Goldstein and Amiel set up a wonderful trip for all of us. From planning – when Amiel cheerfully arranged, and sometimes changed, the itinerary to fit our expectations – through the trip itself, we couldn’t have asked for a better experience. From the driver who met us at the airport and the Amiel representative who came to our first hotel to welcome our family, to a truly exceptional guide who shared his passion for and knowledge of Israel, we knew we were in good hands. We would happily recommend Jan Goldstein and Amiel for anyone planning travel! 

Our trip to Israel was so carefully planned. Very intentional planning of where we would stay, our meetings and site visits that not only highlighted an entire country in 10 days but also allowed us to see the beauty and challenges of such a small, powerful, and spiritual country. Shachar was the best guide we've ever had, anywhere, and we've had quite a few. He has such a great personality and made it seem like there was nothing he would rather be doing than spending the day with us. I just can't recommend him enough but I'm sure I'm not the first person to say that.  

My parents had a great time and I think it was such a worthwhile experience for them. My mother is always a trooper and my dad was able to enjoy himself too because of the scooter. Again, thanks so much for all your hard work.

Iris and the Amiel team in Israel were wonderful. Although we’re frequent visitors to Israel, we always look for something new. They found us an incredible boutique hotel in Tel Aviv which was delightful and which we never would have located on our own.  In addition, when my husband became ill during our trip, they were right there, helping us cancel and change reservations. It would have been so much more complicated doing this by ourselves. I highly recommend them whenever you are planning a trip to Israel. They will make it perfect

When we began, we were looking for a unique Israel trip that would connect our participants to the history people, beauty, and culture of Israel through the exploration of food and wine experiences.
